ရတနကိုစင္၏ ႏိုင္ငံတကာအမည္မွာ ဘန္ေကာက္ျဖစ္သည္။ တည္ေထာင္သူမွာ ရာမာ (၁) ေခါ ္ဖရာ့ဖုထေရာ့ဖါး က်ဴလာလို႕ဘုရင္ျဖစ္သည္။ သူသည္ မြန္လူမ်ဳိးေဆြမ်ိဳးစုမွေမြးဖြားလာသူျဖစ္ျပီး ကိုစာပန္း ၏ေျမးျဖစ္သည္။ သူ၏ဘခင္မွာအယုဒယ နန္းေတာ္တြင္အမွဳေတာ္ထမ္းခဲ့သူတစ္ဦးျဖစ္သည္။ သူသည္ ကုန္းေဘာင္မင္းမ်ားကိုဆန္႕က်င္တိုက္ခိုက္ေသာ ထပ္စင္းဘုရင္ထံတြင္အမွဳထမ္းခဲ့ၿပီး စယမ္ႏိုင္ငံေတာ္အျဖစ္တည္ေထာင္ေရးတြင္ပါ၀င္ခဲ့သည္။ထိုကာလအတြင္းတြင္သူသည္ စယမ္ႏိုင္ငံသစ္၏ ၾသဇာအၾကီးဆံုး စစ္ေရးေခါင္းေဆာင္ တဦးျဖစ္လာခဲ့သည္။ သူသည္ ဘုရင့္ေတာ္၀င္အဆင့္ႏွင့္ညီေသာအျမင့္ဆံုးဘြဲ႕ျဖစ္သည့္ စုမ္ေဒ့ေက်ာက္ဖရား ဘြဲ႕ကိုပထမဦဆံုးရရွိခဲ့သူျဖစ္သည္။ သူသည္ ၁၇၈၂ခုႏွစ္တြင္ စယမ္ႏိုင္ငံကို အုပ္ခ်ဳပ္ကာ ဘုရင္အျဖစ္ သရဖူကိုကိုယ္တိုင္ေဆာင္းၿပီးနန္းတက္ခဲ့သည္။ သူ႕ေခတ္တြင္အေက်ာ္ၾကားဆံုးျဖစ္ရပ္မွာ ၁၇၈၅ ခု ကုန္းေဘာင္ထိုးစစ္ကိုအျပီးသပ္ေျခမွဳန္းသည့္ ထိုင္း-ဗမာေနာက္ဆံုးစစ္ပြဲၾကီးျဖစ္သည္။

International name of Ranatakosin is Bangkok. The founder of

Ratanakosin dynasty was Rama I Phra Phutthayotfa Chulalok. He Was born from a Mon decent family , great grandson of Kosa Pan. His father served in the royal court in the Kingdom of Ayutthaya, and he had served King Taksin in wars against the Burmese Konbaung dynasty and helped him in the reunification of Siam. During this time he emerged as Siam's

most powerful military leader. He was the first Somdet Chao Phraya, the highest rank the nobility could attain, equaled to that of royalty. In 1782, he took control of Siam and crowned

himself as the monarch. The most famous event in his reign was the Burmese–Siamese War of 1785, which was the last major Burmese assault on Siam.
